I have actually. I had a used FX4 out not long ago and I didn't like it at all. Not sure if it was just that one. But it felt cheap and the drivetrain was terrible. I may look at the new one once they get a couple on the lot here. See if the update made it feel nicer.

That already has the lights in it, they come with covers to cover the glass. I would just intall 50w 4300k HID into those and have stupid awesome lighting for next to nothing cost wise.

I found a rack made by US Racks that will serve as a base for our rack. We are going to add molle panels to the sides and a platform on top to carry stuff. When needed the platform can be removed and the yak raks put up to carry our kayaks.
