    Trail Recommendation

Thanks. I took a look at some of the ones you recommended and looked up the Green Dot Roads and will have to pick some to explore. I was just looking for an easy day trail to check out that didn't require 4WD, even though I have it if needed.

    Gazelle T-Hex Hub Tent Size

I'm looking for a new tent and I think I've narrowed it down to either the Gazelle T-4 Plus or the T-Hex tents. There doesn't seem to be a lot of reviews out there on the T-Hex yet, and especially not videos of the tent being setup out in the wild. Given the size of the tent, how difficult will...

    Trail Recommendation

I'm looking for a trail in the greater Mt. Rainier or Mt. Baker areas that are easy to navigate, has areas for nice views, and isn't overly long and/or has places to turn around. I have 4WD but I'm just looking for a small day trail to explore a little bit on. I've heard the Greenwater area has...

    iPad navigation

I think this is one of the main draws for OB1 as the development continues to move forward. The community behind it isn't just improving an app through user feedback, it's enhancing user experience in all aspects through the app. You utilize Gaia and onX for navigation. You use OB1 for an...

    iPad navigation

My point was that Gaia wasn't built exclusively for overlanding. It's obviously used for overlanding but it's also used for hiking, hunting, mountain biking, backcountry skiing, and fishing, according to their website. OB1 is being built exclusively for overlanding and will focus solely on that...

    iPad navigation

I've used Gaia in the past and liked it for non-overlanding uses. I haven't picked an app for overlanding yet but I'd like to try out Gaia, onX, and OB1. Gaia and onX aren't purpose built for overlanding like OB1 is. All apps rely on user feedback to improve, including Gaia and onX, so I'm not...

    Membership

Thanks! It looks like the store recognized my email so it appears connected. The app still wants me to pay, but that may be part of the app since even the screen shots @M Rose posted show the same thing. Thanks for the help.

    Membership

In the app it asks me to pay $29.99/year, however I joined in April, 2020. On the Overland Bound store it doesn't recognize my email or password. Am I not doing something correctly?

Recommendations for cheap/simple point 'n shoot cameras?

Depending on your budget, one of the Sony RX100 models may suit you well. It will also shoot in RAW if you have the capability to process that (Lightroom/Photoshop) and it'll shoot in 4k video as well. It's a nice little camera.

    I ORDERED A BRONCO

No doubt Jeep is the leader and the bar is set very high. I agree that nobody has presented a true challenge to Jeep. Even if the Bronco dies again, at the very least it'll prompt Jeep to continue innovating and keep them from becoming complacent. Competition between the manufacturers is good...

    I ORDERED A BRONCO

Congratulations. I hope it turns out to be as good or better than advertised. A lot of the YouTube videos make it look pretty impressive thus far. I probably wouldn't buy a first generation vehicle as I prefer to wait for some bugs to get worked out, but I am glad there are people like you who...

    NW WA Day Trips

Thank you! I looked up Twin Lakes and it looks like that would make a great weekend. I'm going to look into this a little more, including how hard the road is, and plan a trip up there. As a side note, I know up in the area there are huts, or maybe old fire lookouts (or both) that people will...

    NW WA Day Trips

Thanks! Those recommendations seem like a good way to get started exploring the area. I'm definitely interested in hiking the area once I figure out some of the better areas to hike. It looks like Picture Lake is up Highway 542 as well. Thanks! It's on the list to see. I'd like to go camping...

    NW WA Day Trips

I'm looking for recommendations on day trips in the northwest WA area. In particular, the general North Cascades National Park and Mt. Baker areas or anywhere in that area. I'd be willing to consider the Olympic National Park area as well (the national parks are general reference markers). I'm...

    RTT storage done

This is exactly what I'm looking to do once I get my setup completed. The only difference is I want to lift the bed rack with the tent attached to it and store the entire thing when I'm not using it. How do you operate yours?
