A newby to overlanding, here. Back in the day, my grandfather would take me fishing in the Eastern Sierra. We'd usually set camp at Taboose Creek and wander in his Ford F1 pickup to his hidden fishing holes and streams. I don't recall ever being stranded in his 2WD, 115 horsepower, long bed Ford. My F150 is 100X more capable and I wonder how I'll be at negotiating the backcountry. Can't wait to see . . .
