2) SW Washington. Vancouver area.
3) 2012 T4R Limited, Light MODs because I haven’t broke anything yet.
4) Lots of experience in the backcountry but little true overlanding experience. I just wish I found this site long ago.
Welcome from Arizona!

Hello Everyone, my name is Paul and I am new to all of this, but am super excited to get out on the road and explore. I have a 4.7L 2005 4Runner that I’ve had for years, I was at a crossroad last year where I either would look at buying a new (used) truck, or double down on my ol reliable 4Runner. It didn’t take me too long to reach my decision to keep and restore what I had.

As I started to look at what to upgrade I ran into a number of forums and YouTube videos that had amazing rigs. I was sold and committed to give my poor aging truck an overland profile. It’s taken me 6 months and with great support from Toytec, Gobi, ARB, and many other equipment specialists and my favorite body shop “West Chester Autobody’ in Ohio, to turn my old truck into a young vibrant 260K mile adventure mobile.

My intention for joining this community was to see if I could get insight and guidance from other members on good routes traveled in various parts of the country. I am going to take my first trip to NE ... Mount Washington in NH and Acadia National Park in ME. If anyone has any favorite spots in these two parks or any information to share on trails, I would be grateful.

Excited to be part of this community!!

Just getting started....
Based in north Florida.
Current vehicle: 2018 Chevy Colorado
Overlanding has a few significant draws for me. One, camping has always been a time to reset, relax and become more grounded. Therefore, obviously I'd love to build on that experience. Two, I'm a photographer, so there's the desire to document experiences, locations and memories. And three, I love to design, improvise and problem solve.

Hello, Happy to be here, I’m originally from AK so definitely not new to overlanding. Me and my family love the lifestyle, along with the dogs too. Oh and we have 2 Jeep’s we take when we go a WK2 and a KL.

I spend a ton of time outdoors..camping, hunting, etc...maybe it's not traditional, but when I heard about overlanding I thought "I've been doing this most of my life :-)". But I would still consider myself a novice of true
Overlanding.

Happy to be a new member. I drive a 2017 F350. I am totally new to the overlanding community, but it turns out that I am not new to overlanding - I just didn't know it had a name.
