Well I picked up my Australian army trailer the other week. Here is how it sits now.

It's a work in progress.

nice.....check out "I am Jake" on youtube.... He has an army trailer....it might give you some ideas

I am sure I have watched every single video out there on army trailer builds lol along with turtle back campers etc. I have watched I am Jake for quite awhile [emoji6]

The 90litre water tank fit nicely up front under the tool boxes.

The tool boxes are held in place temporarily to see how everything lines up.

Have had a few extra ideas since last I posted.

I have also given the trailer a quick coat of killrust primer green heavy duty for its inspection which was yesterday and it passed. Now I need to take it to MVR for compliance check and registration next week.

What did you give for that trailer? I passed up one about a year ago as I didn't want to spend the $350-$500 and I didn't think I needed it. Now I'm looking to go that route and they're all going for $1,000 or better.

I paid $750 for my trailer. Definitely worth it.

Been working on the trailer after a 12hr work day to try and get the trailer liveable for a week long remote camping trip with my girlfriend.

Here you can see my wood work mock up of the toolbox supports. I also have secured the 90 liter water tank under the tool boxes.

Still a bit to do but it's coming along.

Ok have added a few more extras to the trailer and have done a few shake down trips.

So after this trip I made a list of things that needed to be done.

Cut out tailgate and install hinges / latches

Mount trailer battery securely.

Install more lighting.

Next thing to come is a batwing awning, drop down fridge slide for fridge on tray, and fill in the trailer with some waterproof boxes. Oh and not too far away is shock absorbers under the trailer.

Nice looking setup. Thinking about shipping my rig down your way and spending about 6 months exploring.
