i Had a steel cable winch on my Jeep for 5 years and was never in a situation where I needed it so I never used it. Now that I’ve put a synthetic line winch on my new 4Runner and I’m starting to do more stuff by myself, I figured it’d be a good idea to work with someone who really knows what they’re doing to get some hands on experience with my gear before I really needed to use it. Yesterday I had the chance to do a half day training session with Joey Pitts of LEARN OFF-ROAD | PITTS 4x4 CO.. If you ever get a similar chance, I highly recommend jumping on it. We covered a variety of recovery related scenarios.
