    DIY Jeep WJ Cargo/Trunk Platform

That looks good. You could always install some rubber mat on the top of your platform. That way your doggos have something to grip and the paint won't get scrapped up. I use a commercial style floor mat Frome home Depot cut to fit.

You can't go wrong with Falkens! I have an Iron Rock Off Road 3" lift and Thunderer Trac Grip MTs 265/70r17s on a set of 17x9 Black Rock wheels

    ZONE LIFT KITS

I considered a Zone lift for my WJ but went another direction in the end. I can't say either way because I don't have experience with them. But I would think they're decent enough. Sent from my SM-J320V using Tapatalk

    Kansas Members??

That would be so cool man. I'd love to have a plan for going south so I wasn't guessing. I've heard the Flint Hills are pretty. Sent from my SM-J320V using Tapatalk

    Kansas Members??

Where else in Eastern Kansas can you recommend? I've been through Halsey before. It was brief (just a couple hours during a road trip) but it was a blast and I'd like to camp there this summer sometime. The Scott Tower is awesome on a clear night. Sent from my SM-J320V using Tapatalk

    Spare Parts Recommendations

Really liked those! The highlights I gathered: -at least have basic tools and hodge podge kinds of things (duct tape, zip ties, bailing wire) -don't load up on things you couldn't change yourself -and my favorite, Piss Poor Maintenance Leads to Piss Poor Performance! Unfortunately, because the...

    Days Planned vs. Supplies Planned

Hey that's a good idea. What about changing vehicle Temps, especially the heat? How do you store it? I want to stash some of those brick rations and just bottles of water (semi) permanently with my tool kit. I have the spare tire area where I stash tools and gear. I'm thinking food and water...

    2001 Grand Cherokee Laredo

Thank you! With starting my own business I kind of threw my old plans out the window... But if I am able, I'd like to get my roof rack back on, I'd like to pick up some used/like new Rubicon tires from a buddy, and I'd love to get Bumpers... Not sure which one first though... Otherwise, we have...

    Days Planned vs. Supplies Planned

Chocolate chip pancakes!? That's fun survival! Haha But on a serious note, could you give a little extra background on your situation? You mentioned hurricane and road closures. What area were you in? What storm and time of year was it? The more I thought about it, the more curious I am. Sent...

    Days Planned vs. Supplies Planned

Good story! Excellent thing to share and an excellent reason to always plan for the worst. I hate it when people look at me like I'm insane for wanting to take that little extra precaution. Sometimes it could be life saving! Sent from my SM-J320V using Tapatalk

Tail gate tire carrier or roof top mount and why.

This is the conclusion I've come to. And when I'm hauling ladders for work I take my roof basket off and don't even have my spare. That damages my calm. Rooftop is convenient and cheap but rear mount is having your cake and eating it too Sent from my SM-J320V using Tapatalk

Tail gate tire carrier or roof top mount and why.

Roaming timber also built a Flatlands 4x4 bumper for his WJ. You're right too. MIG welding is easy to learn. I did some in highschool. I just need to buy a welder a jump 2 feet into it... Sent from my SM-J320V using Tapatalk

Tail gate tire carrier or roof top mount and why.

Indeed! I have seen it in the past and @roamingtimber did a fantastic job. However, my fabrication skills are lacking and I don't have a welder. If I did I would design and build a lot of accessories for my rig. Sent from my SM-J320V using Tapatalk

    03 Grand Cherokee Overland Build

Howdy! Like your build thread. Did you come over from Jeep Forum? I could never reset my password after they reset them a few months back. So now this is my primary forum. And so many of the older tutorial threads were broken and useless because of photo bucket... Anyways good to read your Jeep...
