I have several new components available as a kit for mounting and powering accessories on your dash. You can follow this hyperlink link for the accessory mount for more information about this product.
All Ram items are still in the original sealed packaging, and the mount was opened for...
This morning I was able to finish up the rear bumper, and just in time for our upcoming trip tomorrow. The aluminum box was a bit of a last minute idea that'll double as a work center. I'll be able to store some item in this, and have a flat work space if needed.
I've been trying to wrap some things up before departing for our road trip on 12/23 when we head into No-Cal for a week. That means I should be dumping a lot of updates over the next couple days.
First update is small, but pretty significant. I recently purchased some insulated window and fan...
Over the past year or so I've had a few different drawer/sleeping systems in my 4runner. All of these have seen minor changes from design to design, and all allow me/you to keep the rear seats installed.
I have a 5th version in the works right now that will be pretty unique when it's complete...
For the rear bumper I went with Nguyen Works rear bumper with a single swingout. I chose to go with the bumper that allowed me to keep the receiver hitch since I do tow from time to time. I also designed a bumper cover that really cleaned up the look of the receiver.
The next small project was installing some RCI 20 degree sliders. I still need to install the gas tank, engine, and t-case skid plates once the rain stops in a few months.
Here's the start of a quick update for what I have at the moment. I still have a lot of parts that need to be installed, but that has to wait until the rain is gone is a few months.
The suspension, new wheels and tires where the first large install on my 4runner. My original choice was King...
I'm jumping backwards a little since I don't think I ever posted the electrical setup in the rear of the van. We have two 100w solar panels on the roof with a 200Ah hybrid gel battery running everything. We're using a Victron MPPT 75/15 controller, Victron shunt, and Victron Blue Smart Charger...
Thank you, and stay tuned the next couple of updates.
I also need to get pictures up of everything else that's been done. I don't have any of the electrical posted, and some of the smaller items that I've done.

Much easier and cheaper for sure. We almost went with a normal van, and had plan to add a pop-top of sorts to it but ultimately went with the box van. So much more room, and flat walls make for an easier build out. IMO, if you're on the fences about it, it might not be worth dumping in the money...
