Williams Hill Recreation Area

Located in southern Monterey County, and standing over 2,700 feet in elevation, Williams Hill offers great views of the surrounding Salinas Valley. Pine trees, chamise, scrub oak, and impressive shale formations characterize the hilly terrain.

There are 7 developed sites with a pit toilet as well as dispersed camping, the sites are first come, first serve. The area offers many trails for hiking or 4x'ing, as well as hunting and target shooting. We usually go to just camp and relax.
