Rally Point Details:
We will meet up in Atwater at Mike and Jen Keith's house. From there head we will head to Mariposa, where we will be setting up camp at Big K Ranch. Saturday morning we will head out to historic Sweetwater Mine where we will get off the pavement and do a little fire road burning. The trail will end in Midpines and from there we will take Highway 140 into Yosemite. The cost to get into the park is $35 per vehicle. An annual pass is $80 a vehicle to get you into all National Parks. We highly recommend doing this. We will stop for a quick lunch in Briceburg. Majority of the trip into Yosemite will be a driving trip depending on how many rigs come and how busy the park will be due to limited parking and will also determine our stops. We will then exit the park on the Wawona Highway 41 side and head back to basecamp for a potluck dinner. There will be a short training on Sunday then we will disperse and head home. If you'd like to go back to the park you're more than welcome or if you would like to follow us, we will head home through Bear Valley into historic Hornitos where the original Ghiradelli Chocolate Company started.
