My first car. 1986 Delta 88 2 door. Sold it for $150. Even after hitting a parked car my buddy drove it 20 miles to the scrap yard.

Recently sold a 2001 Outback 5 speed that ate a rod bearing. Lost my ass on the car, but I really loved it. The guy offered to sell it back for half what he paid me for it, but the reality of the work it needs just doesn't make sense. It still hurts though.

I had a 2001 Holden Rodeo 3.2L V6. Was my first 4x4 and vehicle I ever owned, except for a lousy fuel economy I couldn't complain about anything else! Wish I had spent the bucks upgrading her instead of buying another as nothing could break it!

I got my brother's 1973 FJ40 with a 350 (swapped in prior to him owning it). Was a fun little vehicle but having got it when I was 15 and not having full control of my spending, a bunch of my budget was "required" by my mother to have a rollbar installed and front disc brakes. I personally could have had a NV4500 and most of the body work done for the same price with money left over to invest in paint and other mechanical work. I understand my mother's safety concern but it was frustrating for me being unable to use it on a regular basis and not being able to invest money where I wanted it so I purchased my Jeep. It's still in my parent's ownership but with possibly a broken rod in the 350 and soon to be sold in the next year.

Still miss it to death. Those old FJ40s had such a great look to them, I see myself buying another in the future.

Really really regret getting rid of my red 1989 VW Corrado G60, don't know what was done to it or how much hp/torque it had, but it was a fast sleeper.

My 2000 Ford Escort ZX2 SR in Zinc Yellow with a 5 speed manual. It was just fun to drive. The "SR" was sort of like SVT. It had some upgraded parts, but what really made it fun was the upgraded suspension that came factory. It was a little lower that a normal ZX2 and handled beautifully. Until I moved to California, I used to see it around sometimes. I once caught the owner on her way out of a store and asked how much I could buy it from her for. As expected, she thought I was weird and left. My wife was embarrassed.

2010 FJ Cruiser Trails Edition. It was all stock. I truly loved it. Had to trade it in for a truck. IMG_2490.JPG

I had a Saturn SL2 (1998) that I gave to a friend with 290k on it 10 years ago. I've bought two cars since then and that Saturn is still running. I should have kept it. I coulda bought a 2018 Tacoma or something with the money I would have saved. lol

I have two that I miss constantly.

1993 VW Passat GLX wagon - black with black leather, VR6 turbo, full custom Borla exhaust, 5-speed manual, Porsche D90 wheels, Boxster brakes, coilovers. Car was a rocket.

1995 Camaro Z28 convertible - yeah, it was purple, and automatic, but it had the big 350, leather, every available option. I did an all new suspension set up on it, Magnaflow exhaust, and a brake upgrade. I miss this one more than all the others.

Honourable mention, 1985 VW T3 Doka with a TDI swap from an '05 Jetta, bigger turbo, regeared 4-speed trans, lowered, Mercedes wheels, Westfalia interior pieces, South African front end.
