I work for a forest products company, I make lumber for a living. and before this job i was a cav scout in the army for roughly 4 years. i really like to make lumber, there is something satisfying making something with your two hands.

I was a firefighter for over 9 years. Amazing career with great rewards. It has its pros and cons. I walked away from it after a med scene that involved a couple of young kids. Did some other stuff and now training to become a LEO. Its one career that it does get into your blood. But the adrenaline seems to wear off and you do look for that calm nine to five. First responders deal with the ptsd just as much. That danger gets into your personality and gives you that aggression to help. Ive been away from it for less than nine years and you begin to miss the public service

Currently a HVAC tech in Shetland(on the hunt for a new career though), but a mechanical fitter by trade, working on subsea ROV and retro fitting ships.
But my passion lies in blacksmithing/ bladesmithing though there's little call for it, so it'll stay a hobby.
