Hello overlanders!
Is anyone using the ultragauge mx or the standard ultragauge?
Or maybe a similar obd device?

I want to monitor some vitals of my wrangler and I want to have a permanent mounted device.
I know that I could use a app, and I do that but I don't like it for several reasons.
I'm especially interested in temperature monitoring, maybe we have someone using it with a wrangler jk?

I've been using the Ultragauge MX for a few years now, it's been great. Cheaper than a scangauge and can display a lot more than four gauges at a time.

Did you use the function to program vehicle specific pids?

Yes, the main reason for getting it was so that I could monitor my transmission temperature. I also have it showing oil pressure and temperature.

Good to hear, that's nearly exactly what I want to do.
Thanks for your reply!

I have used Aeroforce in the past. Plugged into the OBD port and had an L bracket and they just mounted to the dash on a Velcro or 3M setup. Easy to move and stayed out where I wanted them. Can switch the digital read out to any of a couple dozen monitored vitals.
