Tuff Stuff rack question

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with the 51" Tuff Stuff brand rack on a full size P/U (Sierra1500 crew in my case)? Seems to be simple and well made and within my budget. Just don't want to waste time and money on something that has mounting or installation issues. I'm not concerned with extreme off road conditions etc. Mainly concerned with gear storage and a platform for a future rooftop tent.
