US West Trail Clean Up - Cow Mountain OHV

My wife and I really want to help out with the restoration of this area
We were planning a trip up to Shasta area for this long weekend

But getting Cow Mountain re-opened and available for everybody is way more important to us.

Just want to get some info on the camping options During the meet-up

I know everybody’s busy with Overland Expo West

But would love to get a little more info

BLM will open up the large camp site at red mountain.

Did Ashley give you the comp to the lock on the gate? Last time she said it was blind locked and it was actually locked so I could not get in.

I just got off the phone with Ashley I Confirmed that she will be blind locking the gate Friday morning.
I have her cell number She seems very responsive. I will be getting up there early enough, if there is a problemI can just go to the Ukiah field office.
