So I've been getting a lot of conflicting information online about which All Terrain KO2 tire size will fit on a stock suspension and 16 in wheel. I'm considering going 305/70/16 but AmericasTire tell me it's not going to fit, which only makes things even more confusing. Any thoughts?

When you say stock suspension, are you talking about the original 25 year old springs? If you are, maybe. Toyota gave the 80 a pretty big fender opening. If your stock height, it shouldn't be too bad. I had a 2 inch OME with 35's and i was fine, with the exception of some hard bumps. The ones you posted are about 32 inch tall. On the stock rims you would have minimal rubbing if any. My profile pic which is hard to see has 35's with the 2" lift.
As for the tire shop, most wont go more than 1 size over stock because of liability.
