On the 17th of september we are going to follow the track of the Trans Europe Trail. An original Enduro trail through Europe.
This part is the German section. From the dutch border to the Polish border.
After arriving at the Polish border we will do lots of tracks in the Mecklenburg Vorpommern and Brandenburg regions.
In the end we are ending at the OTTO Expo in Thuringen.

So we will cover a lot of ground in the northern and middle part of Germany. And yes the East of it as well.

You can follow our progress here;

See also our RP of the last week.

I hope it will be as great as I hope it is.

Today I did a first upgrade to the trailer. I swopped a battery that was old for a new one and upgraded it from 75 AH to 100 AH.
That brings my power pack up to 200 AH.
Also from simple connectors I did the upgrade to Anderson connectors.

That will make life easier when I need to disconnect the battery pack.

As the batteries are together longer , I did need to build a new box for it. And cleaned up the wiring as well. Together with new battery connectors.

Anderson conncectors are simple but easy to use.

Tomorrow the bike rack will go of the trailer and the jerrycan mounts back on it.

Again, little upgrades, repairs and more done. Almost ready for our big trip this year.

A little LED light in the back of the Jeep, makes it just a bit easier to see what you are doing.
Notice my big First Aid rugsack. It contains almost everything that is in the OB First Aid kit.
I have a little quick responce kit behind my seat as well. It can be used for small stuff like cuts and such, or with the gloves and breather, it can be used for more serious matter.
Also some military first Aid bandages in it. They can help quick when needed.

And yes, the light looks good.

First day on the TET Germany. We arrived at Leer very early and did spend a relaxed afternoon in the old center.
After that we used our new cooker for making dinner. It went very well.
