I'm contemplating a drive from Az. to S.A. in a Subaru Outback with my dog Kate. I realize this drive has been done hundreds if not thousands of times. What I'm interested in here is getting thoughts from folks who may have never even thought about something like this. A real fresh perspective, something outside your wheelhouse. It has been my experience that advice and thoughts from folks who have done the things you are thinking about doing are colored by their experience. While that knowledge is valuable I know from personal experience that folks that have not done something often have unique approaches and ideas about the task. I realize the risks, real and perceived, so that is not really what I'm asking for here. Tell me how you would approach this adventure, what you would take, what you would want to see and do. I guess I'm asking for you to let your mind run and let's see where it gets me. Thanks for your thoughts and advice.
