Spring Break Trip, 2020 Ideas??

Hello Overlanders!

For the last three summers, I have gone through Death Valley, Mojave and the Eastern Sierra High Deserts. This year, I need to plan for next Spring Break (April 2020, wow) and am thinking more of an area in Southeastern Oregon, Idaho, or somewhere in that general area. Any suggestions?

Multi day trip, ie, 4-5 days in the wilderness
Multiple locations to stop at along a route
Nomadic camping (moving every day) or centralized camping is fine.
Preferred off the grid (i.e. no community camping, bleh)

Have heard and seen pictures of the Steen Mountain/ Alvord Desert, looks like a great place to explore, with many vistas and a natural hot spring (Alvord hot springs)
Definitely an area I have been looking at .
