Hmmm,, the price of these things has come way down in recent years. I'm looking at

Does anyone have any experience with this brand of heater? If not any opinion of any of the same style heaters will help in my decision making process. It seems awfully inexpensive, but it will keep us showered off a lot better than the old solar bag, or in cold weather hjeating up a pot of water to have a sponge bath ..

I have researched these types of showers extensively after going through the "cheaper" styles of showers.

I now have an Eccotemp L5, with Flojet 12volt pump. It works awesome. I can use the 12v power cord to the 12v power outlet on the truck or wire it to a small 12v 10amp battery I got from Cabelas.

Yes, there are cheaper versions of a hot shower while overlanding, but as I get older I need more creature comforts.

I also use a QuickPitch shower tent like this, and I have a portable shower/toilet pop up tent as well. I'll update this post with some pictures of the shower heater set up later today.

I have been thinking about one of these, myself. The price today is $10 cheaper, for some reason.
I just need to come up with an idea to mount one on my trailer.

Anywhere that you can install a small hook, screw, etc will work.
I have mine that I hang from a bar off of my roof rack.
There are 2 small mounting holes on the back side, plus you have
the handle that you can hang it off of

I didn’t realize how easy that would be to hang. Thank you!
