I ordered the Overlander XL and it should be shipped in 2 weeks. I am mounting it on top of an FJ Cruiser with 35's and 6 inches of lift.

Anyone know if I will need the Ladder extension....?

Thanks,

You probably will. I have my rtt on a bed rack that sits below cab height. If it was on the roof I'd need an extension. My tacoma is lifted 6" on 35s. However, big caveat, I have an easy awn. Not sure about ladder length differences between brands.

I just installed mine on an FJ stock rack with 2.5" of lift and 285/70/17's. The ladder is at max extension and just long enough. I'll probably order the extension to have a little more flexibility on uneven ground.
