Road Trip 2019 Maine/Canada

Recently completed my Road Trip for 2019 up to New Brunswick, Ca. where I met up with some friends I used to ride M/C‘s with and went moose hunting. No moose this season but still a great time/trip. From there went back down into Maine and sig-zagged the state. Finished up at Overland Expo East and then headed home to Fl.

Don’t know if you’re talking New Brunswick or Maine or both but... as far as N. B. I went straight up to the Moncton area around Hillsbough. Travelled several local and back woods roads in the area as we went hunting Off the area of 110. can’t help to much as I had “ local” quides and most time was lost. As far as Maine goes I found that the State tourism board was invalueable (as w/most states). I contacted them via internet earlier and they supplied all kinds of places to visit and things to do. Spent time in the “Highlands Region” traveling to Baxter State Park area, Katahdin and surrounding areas. Made a big loop from Millinocket around to Ripogenus Dam, down 6/15 to Lily State Pk, Greenville, Bangor and across to Bar Harbor, Arcadia N.P. From there, south on US1 taking side trips to the coast. Great trip. Great sites. Great people. Weather was good, but it started getting cold toward the end of Sept. Best advise - contact tourism board to get a general idea and take side roads when you see them! Enjoy! Hope this helps a little. Bill
