Shelby’s Way Off-Road Adventure
October 5-7 in the Red River Gorge
BRINGING AWARENESS TO SUICIDE PREVENTION
This event will accommodate everything from stock or mild built 4x4s to dedicated extreme builds. We will be trail riding through the Red River Gorge area on October 5-7 with the main ride on Saturday October 6. All proceeds will go to the 501c3 non-profit, Shelby’s Way, bringing awareness to suicide prevention.
This will be for licensed vehicles with working lights, tow hooks and up to date registration and insurance. This is for all skill levels. If you have never been off-road and want to learn, then this is the perfect way to do it. We will be driving the Daniel Boone Backcountry Byway and other areas. We will camp at Callie’s Lake and Campground on Friday and Saturday. This is a family friendly event. Lots of us bring our kids and we have a lot of fun teaching them about the outdoors. Full hookup sites are limited so contact Callie’s soon to book your campsite. Most drivers will camp in tents or small campers.
The entry fee will be $50 and will include a shirt and sticker for the driver as well as 1 Saturday night concert ticket. If passengers would like a shirt and sticker it will be $15 each. Sizes and quantities are limited, so those are first come first serve. Please register before the deadline to ensure a t-shirt and shirt size.
There will be live music concert on Saturday night, grilled food available from the campground after the ride and a raffle with tons of prizes to benefit the charity.
