When it comes to food, combined with overlanding-camping out, added in to a work weekend like our Trail Guardian program...what is your choice ?

1. Feed me at least one big meal, group style; the rest of the time I'm good on my own.
2. I just like doing my own food; no need to feed me.
3. Feed me the whole weekend so I don't have to bring cooking gear.
4. Other?

I appreciate it when there is at least one group meal.

I don't expect to be fed the entire time. It might be nice, but I know it comes at a cost, including a cost of labor that could have been otherwise applied to the task at hand. OTOH, providing meals is a service that some can provide who are not quite as capable on the physical labor side of the picture. Depending on the team and the skills and abilities that are available, the end result should probably vary from one event to another.

If your going through the trouble to put together an event and map out what needs done i wouldnt expect you to provide a meal. I would bring my own fuel for body and vehicle. Now if you want to do it to bring together folks and dont mind the expense thats fine not too many folks would turn down a free meal. The offer of free food may actually bring more people, everytime i do cleanup events no one shows maybe i should say free food next time.
