Please share your pictures of other cool modes of transportation. Planes, trains and automobiles (boats too. I love boats).

I'll kick it off with some jumbo jet love, and an old caboose.

Qantas 747-400ER is nose to nose with Korean Air 777-300ER at SFO.

Modoc Northern Railroad caboose longs for action on a Tulelake, CA siding.

Did u say boats? Pics of my Hobie 33, a traditional Belizean fishing vessel, my catamaran (being transported in a travel lift, appropriately)...and under sail off Plancencia Belize...and, last but not least, my '89 XJ being transported on a boat to Isla Ometepe Nicaragua.

Is there anything more lovely than a sailboat slipping through the water?

I must get down to Belize some day.

There is something magical about being under sail.

Belize is an amazing little country, lots to see and do packed into a very small area, and the second largest barrier reef in the world + 3 of the 4 coral atolls in the W hemisphere just offshore. I first traveled to Belize in my 20's, then many more times over the years, sailed from the USA to Belize in 2004-2005. Set up shop there from 2005-2011. Still have more to explore there.

More photos from my neck of the woods

A daily driven, twin turbo, 715 cui water-fuel injected v8 race engine making somewhere between 1300 and 1700 hp (I asked the owner who is also the builder last year, that is also supposed to be 1 of 2 engines ever made and from what I've heard, it's a detuned dragrace engine)

What I thought was a Spitfire is actually a P-51 Mustang, sorry about that mistake.

I suppose these two could go under the "show me a sign" thread but I'm posting them here since they are train related.

Blazing neon signs for Salt Lake City's fabulous Rio Grande and Union Pacific stations.
