Hi All,

So I know there are lots of people chatting about offline maps which is compleley the right idea if you want to bring something with you,

However when you are want in the planning process you are going to want to look online at various mapping sites and see whether the trail on paper atleast is viable - Basically creating a route card as you would if you were hiking,

What sites (in various countries) are people using to check?

Now in UK you can check out google earth ect that fine but when you want to look at OS style maps some have to pay (or sometimes access is included in another group)

Trailwise is one such site which highlights all the "green lanes" and recently have the licence to overlay onto OS maps for UK,

If you are looking for a trial and going to go abroad, having something like this would be handy to plan before you head out,

:)
