I have a f-150 with a winch and ko2 tires but that is it. Would like to take the wife on a 5 day trip in mid november. We are from illinois so possibly SE area. Or OK or TX. Any ideas for a mild trip???

Badlands of South Dakota are only a 12 hour drive from you. It may be cold then. I dont know what your or her camping experience is, but if she's enthusiastic about camping and is a trooper in the cold, Badlands is absolutely one of the most striking places I have ever been
