Hey welcome! A liberty is actually a pretty sold platform to do some adventuring. The newer ones aren't quite as stout as the older models but they have more space and are still a decent vehicle. If I can turn a compass into an overland rig ( still very much a work in progress) than a liberty should be no issue.
As long as you have enough room to bring whatever you feel necessary than you are set!
