Hey everyone! New to the community and excited to be a part of it now!!! I have always loved my offroad vehicles and camping, now I can combine the two!!! I am registered to go to my first event next month, Rendezvous The Ozarks!!!! Hopefully i can get my jeep ready by then. I just bought a 1994 Jeep Cherokee 4.0l. Has a 3 inch lift and that's about the extent of the mods. I am excited to meet people close to me and hopefully get into overlanding on a somewhat regular basis!!20180928_185843.jpeg20180928_185837.jpeg

Welcome from Austin, TX. Great to know you are attending an event. Don't let the pace you are builing your rig, hold you up from enjoying edventures. Get out with other Overlandbound members, and discover what mods are worth doing, and what is not. Their are a lot of XJ owners on the Forum. I'm sure you will get a lot of great advice, as you build your rig.

Thanks! I am trying not to drop a ton of money into it at first. I want to research and build the important stuff first. I'm definitely excited about the opportunities. I live on the Mississippi/Arkansas boarder and the ozarks are about a 3-4 hour drive away. Perfect for the weekend expedition. I have a group of 4 guys that are going and we are all first timers to overlanding.
