Hello everyone, new member here. I've been over landing and exploring full-time for the past 10 months or so, with no end in sight!
I drive a 17' Tacoma DCLB Off-road with a Norweld flatbed and a Four Wheel Camper Fleet Flatbed as my home on wheels.
Looking forward to meeting and connecting with all you awesome folks!

Location: Yorba Linda, CA
Rig: 1992 Jeep Wrangler YJ
Experience: Minimal, I brought my Durango out 4 wheeling one time, decided it was too big and not enough customization for my liking, and bought the jeep to use for 4 wheeling. It is still in my garage getting the brakes fixed (hurray for stripped brake line compression nuts)IMG_20181210_222557_624.jpg

New guy here in Carlsbad, CA. Just moved here from out of state and currently have a few mechanicals holding me back, but i'm looking forward to getting out and exploring in the Spring and Summer.

Currently in a 72' FJ40, but that might get replaced by something more family friendly.

That’s beautiful, welcome to Overland Bound!

Hello Everyone, Exploring this planet is something that has had my attention since I was a child. I hope that I am finally in a position that I can get out there and see what there is to see. I have a very supportive wife and two daughters that will be my travel companions. We call NC home and will be taking our first trip out west this year! Current Rig '09 JKU Rubicon-lift, tires, winch, gears etc.... Fixing to move to a 4th gen 4runner (read: comfort).... I look forward to the experiences ahead.

Hi, my name is Brian, New Jersey, brand new to over landing, 2018 Subaru Forester, no mods lol, I just finished a small 4x7 utility trailer that I enclosed and has a roof top tent on it. I've camped for years but now I wanna try something new. Thinking about taking a small National Parks tour Memorial Day weekend/week down 81, if any body knows of any really cools pots I would be able to get too with minimal damage to my car lol let me know. Thanks for the add and looking forward to lots of cool adventures.

Outdoors, adventures, exploring, learning, teaching, sharing... I’m Truman, I have 6 year old twin boys and we love a good adventure, even if it’s not too far from home. I lost my 4th gen T4R in an unfortunate breakfast run last July and have since replaced it with 2015 WK2 that I am liking so far. It’s no Toyota but it’s gets the job done...

Bought my 2014 Xterra used back in 2016 and the first week we were scratching her up in Uwharrie National Forrest. Since then we have taken her all over and upgraded a few things. Custom bumper, 33" Duratracs, armored the bottom, rock sliders, ARB rear locker, 10lb winch up front, and suspension upgrades. Have a RTT but haven't used it yet.

Hope to see you all out there having fun.

Let me introduce myself. Tim F. here.

I consider myself a novice since most of my experience is from deer hunting in NorCal. I currently am driving a Power Wagon having just "upgraded" from my trusty FJ Cruiser. Going from the FJ to the behemoth Power Wagon is like learning to drive all over again!

I look forward to many adventures both real and vicarious. View attachment 80699

Check the forum calendar and Meet-Up page for events, and the Trip Planing page for trips being planed by members. Depending on your location in the CA there are lots of meet-ups.
And FYI we have one of those behemoth's in our club here in the Sierra Foothills and it does just fine.

I live in Central British Columbia. My overland vehicle is a 2010 JKU, It has a 3 inch lift, 35 inch tires and a roof top tent. I explore with my wife and you can find us on the trails most weekends during the spring, summer and fall. I hibernate in the winter. This picture was taken at Abraham Lake in the Alberta Rockies.
