I bought a 2017 toyota 4runner off road premium a few weeks ago with plans to modify it for overland trips here in the US. This first overnight trip was to explore Kisatchie National Forrest right here in Louisiana. We explored many of the forrest roads and a few logging roads near Stuart Lake camp ground. Im planning a second trip...3 nights...next week. This upcoming trip I hope to be better prepared with maps so we can hop campsites each night and maybe jump from one ranger district to the next.
