I'm planning out a trip from Minnesota to the Grand Canyon, and I'd like to find some Overland Bound members to meet up with along the way and run some trails local to them. None of the trails I have planned are very hard, so you won't need a super huge rig to be able to come along. So far my trip schedule is as follows, and if you are local to those areas and want to meet up during weekdays to go wheeling, please let me know so I can stay in touch with you.

Oct 6th Deadwood, SD area (Running the Polo Peak southern loop)
Oct 7th Bighorn National Forest in Wyoming (Running Pryor Mountain Horses trail)
Oct 9th & 10th Moab, UT (Running Dome Plateau and 7 Mile Rim)
Oct 12th Escalante-Grand Staircase (Running Paria And Beyond)
Oct 14th Grand Canyon (No trails, just sightseeing, but I'd like to know which places have the best views and get the best camera footage)
Oct 16th San Juan National Forest (Running Animas Loop->Cinnamon Pass->Carson Ghost Town)
Oct 18th Roosevelt National Forest (Running Georgia Pass->North Fork->Deer Creek->Webster Montezuma
Oct 20th Black Hills (Running Calamaty Canyon Bypass->Camp 5)

If anyone has any information about these trails, whether they're open/closed/too hard to do, etc, please let me know...if you think this list is too tightly packed together with travel time involved between places, please let me know...

Hopefully I'll get to meet up with some of you and run some trails together so I'm not heading out alone, and there will be more content to film with other folks there with me.

There's a high probability that the Alpine Loop of the San Juans (Engineer / Cinnamon Passes) might be closed due to snow by then.

That's good to know, and really unfortunate, because I'm looking forward to that the most out of most of the sections I've got planned...is there a good alternative loop nearby that time of year?...
