Hey Everyone. Really enjoyed the first trip we did through a good portion of the Georgia traverse a few weeks back. The biggest green light was the wife enjoying the trip and the 6 month old handling camping like a champ. We will probably go back and finish the portions of the Traverse that we didn't get to due to time constraints, but I would like to look at other options as well.
I have another week+ of vacation this year that i refuse to let get wasted. I would like to do another 3-4 night trip somewhere in the southeast (for travel time to/from mainly). Where would be viable with the best vistas and camping for this time of year? I am thinking Tennessee or Arkansas, but i know nothing about those areas at all. Would like something mild/moderate that my leveled f150 wouldn't be to large for. I wouldn't even mind somehwere that was worth setting up for a day to do some hiking/fishing and give the wife and daughter a break in the truck.
It's worth noting that I have family in North Carolina near the Uwharries, so not opposed to there iether, i just don't know of any trails worth going up that way.
