Join me for a road trip to the Northwest Overland Rally. We'll be meeting at the Zip Trip in Airway heights. Plan on being there between 7:30 and 7:50 fueled up and ready. The convoy will roll out promptly at 8:00. We can talk along the way using Ham, cb and gmrs.

Last year we met at the Zip Trip in Airway heights so it was straight onto the highway when we left. What do you think?

@WU7X Dale was looking into a meeting spot. I am up for anything.

I'll probably be pushing the time back too Google says only 4 hours from Spokane. Would like to be there around 12:15 Check-in starts at 1:00. Thoughts??

Rally point has been updated with the latest info, and I sent out an invite.
Please RSVP so we get an idea of who wants to join the convoy.

I like the Airway Heights idea. Nothing like a bacon double cheeseburger to start the trip on!

For everyone going to NWOR, make sure you respond to the "NWOR 2019 Overland Bound Campsite" Rally Point or Thread so that we can hold a space for you in the Overland Bound camping area!

So, 10#s of carne adovada, check. I will pick up some fresh tortillas from the mexican grocery down the street. I'll also bring some jars of homemade salsa.
Here's a list of what people should gather:
Romaine lettuce (1 big head or 2 or 3 hearts)
Cilantro
Roma tomatoes (5 or 6)
Cheddar
Sour cream
Tortilla chips
avocados (4 or 5)
limes (4 or 5)
That should cover the tacos and chips and salsa. I could bust out some guacamole too if anyone wants to bring a few extra avocados and some red onion.
I haven't seen this years event schedule yet. Any thoughts on the best day or time to do our meal? I'd say wait till Friday when most people will be there but I don't want to conflict with anyone's eventing so let's brainstorm. I can edit the shopping list if it seems like we will have more people than food.

Can my daughter-in-law, my daughter, her girlfriend, and I still stake part in this meal? If so, let us know what we can bring?
