Indian Valley Reservoir and clear lake

I was planning on going on the trail this weekend. has anyone been up in the area since all the rain? There looks to be a trail that goes all the way to clear lake. have you ever done that trail

Yeah I was there about 2 weeks ago. Nothing challenging at all between Clear Lake and Bear Valley Road.

Thanks for the info. I have driven through Clear Lake and never explored the mounts in the area should be fun.

You're going to have a great time. Bartlett Springs Road is pretty wide and 'smooth' for a forestry road. Mendocino National Forest is huge and Bartlett Springs Road skirts along the southern edges. There aren't a ton of places to explore compared to areas to the north, and there aren't many ways to link up to those roads from BSR. You might want to look at going into MNF from Stonyford or just north of Elk Creek also.

Cool! I haven’t been up Walker Ridge Road yet. I didn’t realize where that connected to until just now.
Should be some great views!
