3.5”X5’ utility trailer conversion-

We spend most of our time on the beach or on the road to various places (garner, big bend, etc..) so the added room and flexibility of a small trailer was something that made sense-
Need a kayak hauler so hope it works for us!

So for now here is what we started with-
I did an axle flip to increase ground clearance and will have it fitted with hubs that can hold 6 lug 4Runner rims.. plan is to build a rack system and trim the entire mesh area over with aluminum diamond plate.. it’s a work in progress but I hope y’all enjoy it as much as we are building it!

The little Lowe's trailer is a good option. Mine is still a work in progress. So far I've done the axle over, welded bars to mount my RTT, put leveling jacks at the rear corners, wheel jack on the front, larger 13" tires/rims, bearing buddies.
Future add-ons; like you diamond plating, and a longer tongue to make it easier to back as well as tow.
Enjoy the project and keep us updated with pictures.lowes trl w rtt.jpg
