Hello everyone! Brand new here so I apologize If I'm posting in the wrong section. Due to a change in my occupation, I recently have a lot more free time and have just gotten into off-roading and a little bit of Overlanding. I am wheeling in a 2015 Tahoe with no lift but I have been tackling some pretty tough terrain with my blad street tires and she has done everything I have asked her to and more, I just ordered myself some Goodyear Wrangler AT's so I am pretty confident in her ability to handle most terrain as long as it's not super high ground clearance stuff. Anyway, I am from Clevland Ohio which if you don't know is a complete dead zone for any remote camping/offroading/ let alone Overlanding which is the reason I have to travel so far to find myself a little bit of adventure. A few buddies and I have been shooting the idea around to take a trip down to GWN forest area, it seems there are a ton of cool trails and spots on OnX, but that app has done me wrong multiple times so It's really hard to tell. Basically I am looking to plan a little 3-day adventure/overland trip through that area we are looking for as remote camps sites as we can find, but preferably in some scenic area (I just mean not with 10 families there, sure don't mind sharing a site with a few fellow 4x4's). If anyone is familiar with that area and wouldn't mind pointing out a few cool off-road POIs like camp areas, lakes, rivers anything you can think of to the point a lost overlander in the right direction.
