Traveler I

Location: Currently residing in Southern New Jersey, but a full time student in Philadelphia so me and my Jeep (Laura), and my girlfriend see a huge variety of things.

Rig: Laura is a 1989 Jeep Wrangler Laredo, just about everything on her is stock besides TJ fender flares, CJ hardtop, and still trying to figure out if she has a body lift or not.

4) Overlanding Experience Background: I've gone on a few trails but nothing extreme, and used to camp every few months but in a camper.

My name is Rob, I sold my first car to purchase this Jeep, I bought this with the frame rotted in the back by the shackles, the previous owner dropped a motor with 70k miles on it but must've been in a a rush, the RMS and Valve cover leaked, and they didn't have a thermostat in it.

2 months later I welded the frame, redid the RMS and valve cover, dropped a thermostat in it and now is what I use to get around while prepping her to be worthy of roadtrips.

So far while it was a huge pain I love every second of owning it. My plan is to build a roof rack for her, retractable awning, recovery gear, and some interior space to help ease the load.

Hi Rob and welcome to OB! Nice looking TJ and I like the CJ hardtop - I did the same to my Jade! Safe travels and enjoy those open roads!
