Hey guys, my coworker has been asking me to join for a while now, and I'm happy to be your newest member! I'm an avid overlander, but have been somewhat limited by my '14 Cherokee Trailhawk. I ordered a 2019 RAM 1500 and will be adding the AT Habitat to it almost immediately, and documenting its transformation. I'll be doing the Dempster highway next summer, so if anyone is down, let me know!

Not sure if any of you are in Cal4Wheel, but if so you may have seen me on one of the Winter Fun Festivals or the Hollister Hills runs.

Here are some pics. Thanks for creating such a great community, I really enjoyed the forum/group rules, they are very in line with my idea of what overlanding is. :-)

Your Trailhawk looks great! Is it lifted?

Did you find it limiting due to size for gear or because of the performance capabilities?

Thanks everyone, I appreciate the welcome :)

Yeah, it has the MFC 1.5" lift. I found it limiting offroad. This thing's traction control is amazing, and you can get most places. But I just had too many off-camber moments where I felt like I was going to flip from lack of articulation. But I do love it! The new 2019 RAM 1500 really got at my heart, too, I just love the interior.

Welcome, I am doing the Dempster all the way to Tuk this July and August. Here is the link to my post on this. Leaving my sons house in WA around July 15-19, all based on delivery of my 4th grand baby, so leaving OC about July 8th. Plan on doing a lot of tent camping with sleeping in the back of my Subi Outback.
