we use the Zodi Hot Shower System which I converted from 6v to 12v. I also added 12ft of water hose to the shower head, 15ft of power cord & a rocker style on-off switch so it can be plugged into one of my 12v socket outlets on my overland trailer. All of it still stores nicely into it's original container.
we use one of the battery operated submersible pump showers from amazon., It was only 16 bucks and has amazing pressure and the build quality is decent. We have a 4 inch pvc pipe that we painted black and use similar to the road shower but no pressure is needed. We simply unscrew the top and drop in the pump. We have small solar panel that charges an aux. battery in the back and runs our inverter which powers the pump. The water gets really hot in that black pipe. I would advise having some cool water or ice from the cooler to cool it down. Or just wait until later in the day to let it cool. Really---be careful---it gets crazy hot. This set up has proven to be the most portable and user friendly that we have tried.
