Anyone have any experience with Tuff Stuff racks on a full size pick up (Sierra 1500 in my case)? I'm looking at the 51" for my crew cab short bed. They are in budget for me and seem to be well made. My biggest concern is how they hold up down the line I'm not figuring to be too intense as far as off roading conditions are concerned. I'm just trying to avoid getting something affordable that is frustrating to install or use. Thanks in advance for any help!

You might ask this question on one of the build pages to get more traction.

Thats correct, I'm mounting it on a short bed GMC. Do you have anything mounted to yours Hi Lift jack etc. ? Seems tike I may need to get creative with fabricating. Tents don't seem to be an issue just mat tracks and the like. I haven't seen a large number of accessory mounts available.

Yeah you will have to make mounts for the most part. I have my hi-lift and traction boards mounted on the sides. I ordered hi-lift brackets for mounting and made my own for my traction boards. But I have the 2 bar rack. I am trying to sell it so I can get the bigger one cause my RTT is to large for the smaller rack.

I was going to get the 40" and I saw there was a back order till mid January and the 51" was available so I dug a little deeper which may require me to eat ramen noodles instead of steak. Waiting for it to arrive as we speak
