We are looking at a 04 F150 supercab. Truck has to have a dual roll as we are going to be volunteering at a local 4H Horse club and may need to pull a 2 horse trailer as well as be able to go over landing. My question is that the dealer selling it is saying it has the 5.4 engine. There is the Triton emblems on the front. It has manual windows. I read that only the xlt had the choice of engines. I had a 05 xlt which had the 4.6 engine but didn’t have the triton emblem on it. I don’t have access to the vin #. Any thoughts how I can find out what trim package this truck could be and what trim levels were available? Truck has black fenders as well. Is in good shape. 170,000 miles. I know everyone is so helpful and knows more then me about how to find things.
