Hi all,
We are travelling to Fairplay Colorado over the holiday break this year and will be there for a week. I was looking over the area trails and was kinda thinking we could find some easy trails to try if the snow isn't too deep and I don't want to get in over my head. Truck will be stock KDSS setup with Wrangler MTRs or BFG KOs and I don't plan on crawling any rocks or freaking myself out. Just would like to get out there and enjoy the views.
The three trails that are in the area, listed at easy to moderate are:
Beaver Creek Road
Beaver Ridge Road + FSR 659
Breakneck Pass
Have any of you been on these trails? I have no offroading experience in this truck other than gravel roads and a 1/2 mile trail to the family cabin which is just grass and mud. We will find some other stuff between Colorado and Chicago to try but we need to get there in 2 days each way so that could be limited as well.
