Diff Lock Dash Warning Light Mod Hilux

Just installed a Eaton Elocker into my 2002 Toyota Hilux. In Australia the rear diff lock was not a factory option but they still have the factory warning light in the instrument cluster. After i installed the Elocker to the rear i ran a wire to the number 8 pin on the rear of the instrument cluster to enable the factory rear diff lock light to be illuminated when the diff lock is turned on. There is no pin in the harness plug connector for the diff lock so to enable easy connection i removed the pin from the connector for the ABS which is not used in my vehicle as it DOSNT have ABS and relocated it to the number 8 position. I then opened up the wiring harness near the plug and cut the wire for the ABS and connected the feed wire from the elocker to the plug. The light has constant power to the circuit so all you need to do is supply a switching earth from the diff lock switch so that it illuminates when the diff lock is engaged. There is no reason why you cant use this same method for an air locker too.
