Has anyone fabricated a rear bumper for the gen 3 Tacoma? I am in the process of doing up a design of my own, but my skills outside of cardboard mockups aren't that good. Trying to learn DesignSpark Mechanical, but would probably have issues with clearances. Curious to see any feedback some more experienced members may have.

You can get a little bit tighter tolerances if you use posterboad instead of cardboard. But you may not want it too tight if your expecting to abuse it. If your bumper will be tube id reccommend building what u want out of pvc pipe first using glue and screws. Make sure its what you want then build out of steel. If you want plate steel the cardboard or posterboard and tape work just fine use plenty of tape so it wont move on you and mess up the measurments.
