How was it? I was there early July with no soul in sight. There was several snow drifts still but I made it to Baker. The route to Funnel lake had enough snow that I avoided it since I had my trailer and no winch...

It was amazing. Only saw one other guy on our way out, but he was headed for Funnel Lake. We went south and camped on the ridge above Baker Creek. Amazing trip! I saw a mountain lion attack a group of deer in the trees below our camp. One of the most amazing things I've seen in the wild. Weather was perfect. No snow anywhere on the trail, only some on the mountains around us. Hiked to Baker lake and had lunch. The whole meadow area is really soaked.
