Has anyone done any trips in Costa Rica? We are headed down for the holidays. Renting rigs and exploring for a few weeks. We have maps but looking if anyone has any secret spots to check out.

Years ago I went from Liberia to Barra del Colorado, hitting parks along the way. Travel there isn’t bad, but some areas can be sketchy. My two cents, don’t go during the rainy season and make sure your rig is reliable. Short of that, enjoy yourself - it’s a cool place to explore.

We rented outfitted rigs from Nomad America. Got any maps to share?

I don’t. It was about 12 years ago and I don’t have any materials anymore. I do recall that we used the maps that we purchased there, however.
