We are just starting our foray into the overland world. We camp, though not as often as I would like, but have not done any overlanding yet.
As I look and price items to build our vehicle, I thought about using a contractor/utility rack to carry a roof top tent and maybe some recovery gear (I don’t have one just looking at them as a possible option).
Does anyone know if that would work for overlanding? Any possible negatives?
Our vehicle is a 2017 Ram 1500 Big Horn; 5’7” bed. Stock vehicle.
