If the weather does not make for a great day to be out on the pier, we will relocate to Charlie's. A diner just down the street, with a small pavilion and plenty of parking.

I will also be out of town that weekend, but I'm definitely down for the future.

Sorry to see a lot of folks are out of town. We do have a couple of others coming that are not on OB yet.

We will plan another for July. Maybe the 11th? Would a weekday evening work better?

Thank you for coming out today! 12 peeps and 8 rigs. Not a bad start at all.

We will put something together for July, with some trail time!

It was great to meet you all!
My buddy with a Gladiator has a Jeep event this weekend in Lake George. He sent me the link:
HOME | ADK JP INVASION

Its actually sponsored by Rausch Creek but we do not know what off-roading they are doing or where. He was required to pick a level of capability for his truck so I would think they are going to see some cool stuff somewhere? He said they were sold out and there was already a waiting list for next year.
I'll learn more upon his return.

At Rausch Creek in July is the Coal Miners Cruiser Classic: 21st Almost Annual Coal Mine Cruiser Classic – Gotham City Land Cruisers
I believe they still have openings and it is a good time. Land Cruisers are not required and all are welcome. I was there in 2018 with Jeeps, Rovers, rock krawlers and even a chevy I think? Easy trails all the way up to major rock walls.

Looking forward to some adventure.
Bill

July is a crazy month for me, and probably for most of us. Is 7/10 too soon to schedule another meetup? This one with some trail time.

Is anyone interested in joining me for a weekday scouting trip to Sugar Hill State Forest (Just west of Watkins Glen). The goal would be to pick a possible route for the July or August meetup.
Anyone who knows the area that can suggest roads to try? or who wants to lead?

I have a couple of tentative GaiaGPS routes
