So I'm looking to build a basic tent trailer. I was thinking about getting the smittybuilt tent and a few other gadgets for camping. I was trying to find a used trailer but haven't had any luck,so I found this.... I want you guys thoughts on it. I'll be pulling it with a 2012 jeep jk with 2.5 lift kit. I was going to do a axel flip and put bigger tires on the trailer. And also put a wood floor in,box in the trailer, and add the tent to the top. Any help or advice would be helpful...

I've been looking at that trailer for a while. I have some pictures of a couple that are set up really nicely from an expedition trailer group on FB. Plus the high sides means it's easier to add a lockable top for security. I'll see if I can dig up those pictures.

Found them!

These are 3 different trailer builds with that trailer as the base.

This was the first one I saw. The first one is with stock tires, the second with upgraded and axle flip IIRC.

And two other nice builds, but I like the hinged, lockable top of the first one better personally.

Thanks for the help. I think I will have to sick with a roof top tent for now. I'm currently living in a apt complex and have no storage. I check around my area and the cheapest place i found was $165 a month. So at this time I'll just do a roof top tent. But thanks for the help

Traveler I

I just purchased but haven't built it up yet Carry On 5X7 mesh floor trailer with a ramp. I will be flipping the axle, adding ladder racks for rtt. From what I've read and now seeing the trailer, a little reinforcement here and there will be necessary. If your handy and have access to a welder the price just can be beat.
